What is Marriage?

“The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1601)

Our Marriage Preparation Program

We are excited to bring the Witness to Love© program to our parish as a part of our marriage preparation. Find out more on our Marriage Preparation Page.

Marriage Convalidation

Are you already married civilly or outside the Church? In order for the Church to recognize your marriage as valid, you would have to go through a convalidation ceremony. A convalidation is needed when one or two baptized Catholics enter a marriage that is invalid and the couple now wishes to make the marriage valid. Because every couple’s situation is unique, contact our parish office and talk to one of our priests to find out how we can help you.
