ADULT FORMATION COURSES
Adult Catholic formation classes are offered each year through our Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) courses. Holy Cross provides preparation courses in both English and in Spanish.
2024 FALL PROGRAM
- This year’s course will begin September 9th and meet Monday’s from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Registration is from July 1st to July 31st. Forms are available at the bottom of this page, and at the parish office.
- There will be a question and answers session for all interested in the parish hall after the 9:00am and 11:00am Mass on September 1st.
Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)
- OCIA is a community process of catechetical, spiritual, and educational formation for adults who seek to become full members of the Roman Catholic Church through a conversion of the mind and heart. OCIA is for the following adults 17 1⁄2 years or older (senior year of high school):
- Any person who has never been baptized
- Any person who has been baptized in another Christian faith and would like to covert to the Roman Catholic faith. Any person who was baptized Roman Catholic but never received the sacraments of First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation.
