Congratulations to Marieni Munivez and Kaya Hogue who were nominated by Holy Cross Parish for the Golden Rose Award. This award is given by the Venice Diocesan Council of Catholic Women to high school ladies who were selected by their parish for their spirituality, leadership and service. There were young ladies from 47 parishes in our Diocese that were recognized by the CCW and Bishop Dewane at the Mass and Award Ceremony.
One exceptional young lady will be chosen from all the parishes and her name will be submitted to the National CCW to be included with other young ladies from around the country for the National Golden Rose Award.
