Sunday, September 14, Holy Cross Parish celebrated the joyful commemoration of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
“We glory in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom is our salvation, life and resurrection.”
Dear Parish Family,
We give thanks to our Almighty Father for the beautiful
celebration of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross
this past Sunday. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all who
participated and generously offered their time, talent, and
service in so many ways.
I wish to especially thank our parish ministries, altar
servers, kitchen volunteers, those who set up, served, and
cleaned, the folklore dancers, the Music Ministry, and all the groups who contributed to this
blessed day. I am also grateful for the presence of the officers, who provided order and
dignity during the celebration; for those who continually enrich our parish grounds with
plants and flowers; those who accompanied me in the procession with devotion and are
always so generous in supporting the Church through offerings and donations; and for the
service given in completing the asphalt work, which so beautifully prepared our parish
grounds for this feast.
My gratitude also extends to Ferraro’s Italian Grille, Acapulco Tropical, and Tacos Pancha
LLC, who kindly provided food and beverages for our gathering. The dedication of
Fr. Leszek, Deacon Craig, and our parish staff, who faithfully serve our community, is
deeply appreciated for their tireless efforts and loving support.
Together, as a parish family, we honored the Cross of our Lord in the stations around our
church grounds and received abundant blessings. May the Lord reward each of you richly for
your devotion to our parish and to the glory of His Holy Cross.
In Christ,
Rev. Fr. Teofilo Useche, Pastor
