Stations of the Cross
Stations of the Cross will be held every Friday during Lent starting Friday, March 7, after the 8:00AM Mass in English and in Spanish at &:00PM.
Penance Service
A Lenten Penance Service on Thursday, March 19th at 7:00 PM.
Our Holy Cross Lenten Penance Service is a communal liturgical gathering held during the Lenten Season. This will be an opportunity for us to engage in self-examination, repentance, and reconciliation as part of our spiritual preparation for Easter. During the Penance Service, all are invited to reflect on their sins, express contrition, and seek forgiveness through the Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession). The service will include prayer, scripture, hymns, and a homily.
Additionally, every Parish in the Diocese of Venice will have a priest available for the Sacrament for Reconciliation on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:00AM to Noon. Confession will also be provided during the Lenten Season so that all may find ample opportunity to receive God’s mercy in the Sacrament. Check with the Parish office for times.
