On Friday, July 10, 2026 the rite of Solemn Vespers was held at St. John XXIII Catholic Church the eve of the Ordination of Bishop-elect, Emilio Biosca Agüero, O.F.M., Cap.
On Saturday, July 11th, during the Ordination Mass, Bishop Dewane places his hands on Bishop-elect Emilio Agüero’s head (“Laying on of Hands” ). All Bishops present follow, imposing hands on the head of Bishop-elect Agüero, ushering in a new Shepherd of the Diocese of Venice in Florida: Most Reverend Emilio Biosca Agüero, O.F.M., Cap.
